Industrial drum coating (rubber logging) with hot vulcanization in Sepahan, Iran
The most specialized rubber coating center for industrial rollers with more than 30 years of experience
In large industries such as mining, steel, cement, petrochemical, papermaking, grain and transportation, conveyor belt systems and transfer drums are an integral part of the production and material handling process. One of the main factors in increasing the productivity of these systems is the use of rubber drum lining (rubber lagging) to prevent belt slippage, increase adhesion, protect the metal surface and increase the life of the system.
With more than three decades of continuous experience in the field of manufacturing and implementing industrial rubber linings, Pad Sepahan Company, as one of the largest specialized authorities in the country, provides drum lining services with the highest standards in the world. The implementation of projects at Pad Sepahan is carried out using the Hot Vulcanization method; a professional, precise and sustainable method that has been used in the world's leading industries for many years.
Applying the coating with hot vulcanization method; superior technology for longer life
In the rubber logging process using the hot vulcanization method, the following specialized steps are performed in a precise and controlled manner:
- Metal surface preparation: The surface of the drums is roughened and free of any grease, rust, or contamination by shot blasting or precise grinding.
- Use of primers and special rubber-to-metal adhesives: Industrial primers and specialized polymer-based adhesives are used.
- Installation of the raw rubber layer and coating with pressure tape: The rubber layer is installed on the drum and secured with a special tape.
- Thermal curing at a controlled temperature: The drum is cured in an autoclave or heat press at a temperature of 130 to 150 degrees Celsius for a specified period of time.
