Metal-rubber parts consist of two main parts:
1. Metal part (central core or outer structure): Usually made of steel, cast iron, aluminum or stainless steel and is responsible for bearing mechanical load, providing stability and structure to the part.
2. Rubber coating or layer: It is responsible for absorbing vibration, sealing, and resisting abrasion, impact, chemicals or high temperatures. This coating is usually attached to the metal surface by methods such as hot vulcanization or special industrial adhesives.
